On of Britain's leading sculptors and former Turner Prize nominee David Mach (pictured) has returned to Chester Cathedral with a new installation entitled Two Twisted. Mach, whose previous work at the cathedral in April 2016 entitled “Golgotha” won rave reviews, has this time installed two shipping containers, two cars, steel girders and ten tons of newspapers inside the cathedral space. Mach said: “I’ve enjoyed exhibiting in Chester Cathedral. This will be my third time. There are believers in there too but there’s much more noise and the audience is less ready.
I like that.”
The exhibition opens on Friday 12th April and runs until 20th May 2019.
